Prolock bank protection reused
In a joint initiative by the village of Oudega, the municipality of Smallingerland, the province of Fryslân and Wetterskip Fryslân, the harbour in Oudega will be expanded and refurbished. The work will be carried out by excavation and contracting company van der Meer BV from Scharnegoutum.
The harbour has been rearranged and as a result, part of the existing Prolock Omega sheet piling has been reused in a new location.
The now 10-year-old sheet piling was simply pulled out of the ground to be reinstalled a short distance away.
